April '20 Clinic Updates

Updated: May 5

COVID-19 Clinic Closure April 1, 2020

We miss you! We miss walking into the treatment room and seeing peaceful resting faces, we miss providing a safe space for you to come and lay down what worries and pains you, we miss tucking you in with blankets, we miss listening to you, we miss putting in that one point that sends a zinger and making sure you are ok, we miss hearing deep breaths and quiet snores, and so, so much more.

As you may have guessed, we will continue our closure given Governor Little's Order to Self-Isolate. We are constantly checking in with local public health leaders, the CDC's recommendations, and more research emerging about the coronavirus. We will be updating you about the status of your clinic on our website, social media pages, and via email.

We hope this uncertain time can help to bring our global communities together and help us recognize how intricately connected we all truly are. We hope that when the storm passes, BAC will be able to rise to the occasion to do what it does best: provide a space where people come as they are and are empowered to heal side by side in community. Please take care of yourselves, your loved ones, and your community. We need each other now more than ever.

A Letter from Wisdom Council (aka BAC's employee representatives)

Click the link below to read a letter written to inform our community about how our vision for BAC at this time is to remain sustainable and ready to serve for when the time comes that we can open our doors again. You can read the letter here.

BAC Can Use Your Support

We recognize that folks in our community are financially affected by these unprecedented times. We recognize and honor that it is not within everyone's means to donate right now. You are still essential to our community and we are so thankful for the ways you do support the clinic- by showing up for treatments and telling friends and loved ones about us. Thank you!

If you are able to donate to your community acupuncture clinic at this time, you can make a tax-deductible donation via our website. BAC will also be participating in Idaho Gives from April 23rd to May 7th - check out their website at the link below for more info!
