Volunteer With BAC!

Your clinic is sustained by dedicated volunteer members who see the value of community healing and wish to invest their time to help your clinic be sustainable for all! This is why we call them fairies! They are truly magical. Without their commitment, we would not be able to continue to offer affordable acupuncture to the community. Would you like to join our team of super awesome volunteers?

We have front desk fairies, laundry fairies, cleaning fairies and back-up fairies. To join team fairy, we ask that you love love love community acupuncture and have at least 5 treatments under your belt.

BAC's Board of Directors:

We currently have an open Member at Large position on the BAC Board. This is a meaningful way to support community-centered care and help shape BAC’s future. If you are interested in learning more about BOD roles and responsibilities, please send us a message and we’ll share details!

Front Desk Volunteer:

We currently have a handful of front desk volunteer positions available:

• Wednesdays 8am-12pm

• Thursdays either 10am-2pm or 3pm-7pm

• Fridays 12pm-4pm

• Every other Fridays 4pm-8pm

• Saturdays 1pm-5pm

Duties include being a welcoming and friendly presence for our community, answering calls, taking payments, and scheduling appointments. Front desk volunteering may be a good fit for you if you:

• feel comfortable with technology

• love organization

• have attention to detail

• enjoy connecting with people

Cleaning Volunteer:

We are looking for a volunteer to come in every other Thursday morning (no later than 8:30am) or evening (after 8pm) keep our community space tidy. Cleaning takes about 1.5 hours and includes: vacuuming, swiffer mopping, disinfecting, light dusting, and bathroom cleaning.
