Have you used an infrared sauna?

Risks & Cautions:

If you have any of the following, we strongly suggest that you NOT use the infrared sauna until you have consulted your health care practitioner.

  • If you have a pacemaker or any other hardware or implant

  • If you pregnant or breastfeeding

  • If you on your period as the sauna can cause an increase in bleeding

  • If you currently have a fever, infection, or injury

  • If you have you recently had high blood pressure, a heart attack or other cardiovascular problems

  • If you have a history of dizziness, fainting, heat sensitivity, impairment to sweating, narcolepsy or seizures

  • If you suffer form any bleeding disorders or are on blood thinners

  • If you are under the influence of drugs, tobacco, or alcohol

  • If you are under the age of 18. We do not recommend far-infared sauna for those under 12 years old. If you are under 18, please download our consent form here and have your parent or guardian sign.

I understand the risks and cautions of sauna use.

My Responsibilities:

  • Bring my own towels. We recommend you bring one full size towel and one hand towel. If you'd like, bring an extra towel for the sauna seat.

  • Hydrate before, during, and after. We recommend drinking 1 liter minimum (at least 16 oz before you arrive and 16 oz during/after). Mineral water, coconut water, or electrolyte supplements are great ways to make sure you’re getting enough electrolytes.

  • Bring clothing to wear in the sauna. We recommend a swimsuit or clothing that can absorb sweat, a robe works great.

  • Arrive at least 5 minutes early. This ensures you will have as much time to sit in the sauna.

  • Limit my first sauna sessions. We recommend sitting in the sauna for no more than 20-30 minutes and at a lower temperature of 100-120 degrees .

  • Listen to my body. If you experience pain, discomfort, feel light-headed, dizzy, heat exhausted, or unwell immediately discontinue and exit the sauna.

Liability Release Waiver:

I acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in the use of the infrared sauna. I voluntarily assume the risk of injury, accident or death, which may arise from the use of the infrared sauna. I and any of my heirs, executors, representatives or assigns hereby release from all claims or liabilities for personal injury or property damages of any kind sustained while on the premises, during the use of the infrared sauna and from any advice provided by an employee or any representative. I agree that this release is in effect for all infrared sauna sessions.


None of the information provided is intended to act as a substitute for medical advice, nor does it involve the diagnosis, prognosis, or prescription of remedies for the treatment or prevention of any disease or ailment. I also understand that the infrared sauna is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or ailment.

Cancellation Policy: Sessions canceled with less than 12 hours notice, or are missed altogether, are responsible for a $25 cancellation fee. To cancel my session I will either do so online or call the clinic and speak to front desk person or leave a message

I certify that everything on this form is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.

If you do not see a Submit button below, you may not continue to schedule a sauna session because:

1. You have not read and agreed to Risks & Cautions.

2. You have not agreed to your Responsibilities.

3. You have not acknowledged or signed our Agreement.
