Community Acupuncture 101

Acupuncture is safe, natural and effective

We treat specific acu-points in the body with thin, solid, sterile, one-time use needles to help calm your nervous system and activate your body’s innate ability to heal.

Acupuncture is clinically proven to reduce pain and inflammation, ease stress and anxiety, regulate hormones, adjust sleep patterns, improve digestion, boost the immune system, strengthen the cardiovascular system, prepare the body for pregnancy and much, much more. We provide an affordable, holistic approach to countless conditions with no serious side effects in a care-free environment.

Why community acupuncture?

Boise Acupuncture Co-op (BAC) is a community acupuncture clinic - we treat in one large, peaceful room with several fully dressed people at the same time. By doing this, we see MORE patients receive the benefits of acupuncture with LESS financial burden.

Being a community acupuncture clinic is more than just an arrangement of recliner chairs, it is a mutual relationship with you, our community. We recognize that without our community, we wouldn't have a clinic, our jobs, our volunteers, and the support we often get from you telling others about us. We need our community to support us so we, in turn, can support you by providing affordable services, accessible and consistent hours and lowering all the barriers to treatment that we possibly can.
